Who here owns a Renaultsport?

Its such a shame those first few had the weak brackets. Even though that's totally fixed now its still scared off a bunch of people (me included).

However, if I hadn't got hold of my one I would be PM'ing him to get another batch built.

Yeah the weak bracket thing didn't do him any favours, I kind of feel bad for making it so public now :p

Yeah I would be tempted by the other bar, especially as the guy seemed to sort out problems quickly.

Skeeter - there's 26 people on the group buy atm so we shall see. The guy said on the phone 16 weeks and I'm ok with that as I can get some new suspension before it arrives

Nothing new, but I just cleaned it so figured I'd post some crappy mobile phone shots :p

:(

My car looks so sad. Dented, dirty, and on rubbish wheels :(

But I don't own it to win any beauty contests, I own it to have some lols driving it. Need to get a couple of track days booked. Anyone else looking at doing any of the RenaultSport days? Theres one at Brands Hatch in September that looks good, as well as a couple of evenings at Bedford.

The bonnet wouldn't open earlier and my dad being a mechanic pushed down on the bonnet so it would open. Magic I thought, untill I realised he pushed down so hard he has dented the bonnet! :(

ARB fitted. Only took it for a quick spin, but its definately tightened up the rear end. Grips well around round abouts, and on the motorway the 'floatyness' has been reduced.

Need to give it a proper thrashing to suss it out, good job I'm off to Cheddar Gorge again Monday :D

Damn you lot and your ARBs!! One day I tells ya ... one day!!

Apart from that all I reckon I need with mine is smaller battery so CAF can actually fit into the air box, braided lines and those pads and brakes everyone clamours about(ds2500s ?) and some cough cough new front *matching* tyres :P Then and only then...it'll be track day ready :D

Im fairly sure mines higher than nicks is (exact same coilovers too) and im gonna raise mine tomorrow a bit more at the front, its still scrubbing quite bad under heavy load. Maybe i drive to hard? :p

An aftermarket steering wheel and it would be perfect SS! :)

It's definitely on the list, although I won't get an aftermarket one, I'll just get the current one retrimmed by the guy on ClioSport.net.

Ride height is perfect for me, low enough to look good (IMO), but not too low that it looks broken or causes rubbing issues.

The only scrubbing I get is if I'm cornering hard and there is a dip in the road, but 99% of the time I have no issues :)

Just been quoted £80 +VAT to fit the 4 eibach springs.

Do you have any tools so you can do it yourself?

I paid some guy off CS.net £50 to fit my Eibachs when I had them. Didn't feel confident doing it myself, and it was good to watch him do it as it helped me when it came to fitting my coilovers :)

Nope, don't have the tools :(

To be honest, I would rather get someone to do it who knows exactly what they are doing. Peace of mind.

I'm sure it's a relatively easy job but I am clueless when it comes to the mechanical side of cars.

Won't be long before my cars looking similar to yours SS! Of course not as low but lowered and turinis :) The silver looks so bad-ass when the sun is out too!
