Who here owns a Renaultsport?

I don't get this at all. It really isn't that much effort.

I had a 1.2 Fiesta before. Steering wheel / turning circle was x1000000 better.

Looking to get one of these

People need to man up, the wheel isn't that big :p I don't have any trouble with mine!

How tall are you guys? I'm 6'4" with long legs, and the wheel is definately to big for me. It would be less of an issue if the seating position was lower, but thats another issue Renault seem unable to fix :(

I'm 6'4" also with long legs (I'm not the thinnest of blokes either) I agree about needing the seat lowered even more. I have the seat as far back as it goes with the seat base at its lowest along with the vibration mounts removed. Another inch lower at least would make it a lot better I think. Do you have trouble seeing out of the car because of the rear view mirror? I find my myself ducking when at junctions etc just to see clearly as it gets in the way :p

The only bit that bothers me about the steering wheel is the thickness around the thumb grips (mine are still in tact believe it or not!)

I don't have any issues with the wheel (other than the fact it melts). I'd personally avoid an aftermarket wheel because I'd be worried about smashing my face in if I crashed.

I just popped in to say how awesome ScarySquirrels car looks.

That is all.

Bye!

Thanks Fox :)

Looks very bright but could be the photo.

Would look better black imo

Oh right, yeah thats just the flash reflecting off the metal inserts. Don't forget this will bend upwards almost immediately, so you will only see about 2" of the inside of the pipe. And its down very low, and im putting a black ram inlet on the outside to clamp it in place :p

I wish I bought a Monaco Blue 172, looks great! so bored of iceberg silver now lol.

I seem to have developed a nice knocking noise when lifting off the throttle and a knock now and again when starting off. From what I've read it sounds like ball joints.... lovely!

:edit: or loose wheel nuts on the drivers side.....*facepalm* :p have to take it for a test drive now!
