Petition to ditch reg plates?:p

*rage face*

So, I find some D bushes I think will fit, order them, and then last night Whiteline finally reply to my email and are now sending me a replacement D bush!

:(

I know, i already agreed above, thats not my car above :p

I've also been reading that the best place for a cold air feed is just under the top of the bonnet (below the front window). Something to do with the way the air comes off the end of the bonnet. I believe quite a few rally cars use this, any body know if this is true?
There's certainly a lot of drag cars use it, it's why you see cowl hoods on some stuff:

Not sure it would look so good(;)) on the clio though. The logic is you get high pressure building up at the base of the screen, I've tested this with lengths of wool in the inlet and it does get shoved back down the hole. It's also why lifting the back of the bonnet to aid cooling probably does not work.

I love the idea of the Trophy, but what annoys me is people who pay the premium for one and change one of it's biggest merits (those fancy sachs dampers).

What do Trophys go for now? Previously I've seen them for twice the price of a FF 182. There nice, yes, but are they twice as good as a 182?

Just paid the deposit for my Whiteline RARB on the group buy.

Just a small 4 month wait now!

I can't post in that thread as my comments get deleted following my own ARB saga, but I think 4 months is optimistic.

It takes 12 weeks alone for the ship to sale from Australia to the UK, and then you have to add on either end the time taken to get the order sorted and packaged Australia end, and then the unpackig and distribution this end. 16 weeks transport time is fine.

However, this assumes Whiteline start the proccess tomorrow. They currently have a shipment physically on a boat on its way here, and I doubt 10 ordered by Demon Tweaks is enough to trigger another one. Considering the last shipment of ARBs was a good few months ago, your likely looking at another few months before an order is shipped again.

End result, 6 months plus. This isn't a dig or anything, I'm just being realistic based on the information I received while finding mine. I would post this in the CS thread to stop people complaining in a few months when they haven't turned up yet, but unfortunately it would be taken the wrong way and deleted.

And if you get one with a bit missing (I had a bush that was the wrong size) just drop Whiteline an email. It took them a week to get back to me, but when they did finally get back to me they organised a replacement bush that arrived the following day.

Providing it doesn't rain, should have mine fitted tomorrow :D

....and people on CS.net joked about the custom rear ARB being £50 or so more, LOL! Well, saved me waiting god knows how long for one :)

That guy really should make a whole load more up and sell them, he'd make a killing!!

Its such a shame those first few had the weak brackets. Even though that's totally fixed now its still scared off a bunch of people (me included).

However, if I hadn't got hold of my one I would be PM'ing him to get another batch built.
