Couple more of mine on the Eibachs
*snip*
£8k to run a Clio for a year, madness.
I've run a Xsara VTS over a similar time frame and mileage (12 months/14k) and its cost me about £3.5k... INCLUDING buying the car.
Quite a difference considering the similar age, type and performance of car!
Looking good! Lose the stickers in the rear windows and for the love of god, buy some of this![]()
Do my wheels look dirty in the pics![]()
How did you manage that seeing as 14k is well over £2000 in fuel alone....?
£500 car, zero depreciation, 4x £35 tyres, £30 self service and £25 front brake pads!
Insurance? Tax?
Bearing in mine that mine covers 2 years worth of insurance and tax in that £8k...
£400 insurance + 2x £130 odd tax. Just 12 months though!
Fair enough just the £8k figure shocked me! Almost makes pcp on a clio 200 seem viable!
Tyre shine/gel is awesome!
I've been very good the last couple of months, aside from new front brake pads which were needed, I've not spent a penny
Although I am now considering changing my bullets back to standard, as the fact mine are slightly off colour does annoy me.
EDIT: Scrap that, I like them actually, just wish the blue was a perfect match![]()
Lose the stickers in the rear windows![]()
Pfft! You're all noobs! Love the way I don't get any compliments on my car because everyone is thinking 'Yea, it looks alright, but not a patch on SS's'![]()
