Who here owns a Renaultsport?

Need some advice on my 172.

Just had the MOT done and had a few issues [now sorted and passed MOT] but, i still have the same issue when i turn right at speed. For example, if i go into a sweeping right bend at about 40mph or higher the front seems to turn in a lot more than i expect at a given point. Its almost as if i have given the steering wheel a sudden yank to the right and the car suddenly oversteers.

I had some work done on the steering rack to get through the MOT though to be fair this issue was there before.

I've guessed at it being either a worn ball joint or a wheel bearing, any other suggestions?
 
Apart from on the 1*2 you need to buy the entire wishbone. You can't just replace the balljoints like on the valvers. I think there's a few dodgy pattern balljoints though if you look around.

I thought you could, IIRC there's a Renault part number floating about on Cliosport?
 
Gotta feeling its considerably quicker to change the wishbone than messing around with the balljoints on the 1*2's though and thats why people generally replace the wishbone.

Hmmm always strikes me as odd on piston heads when people dont give their name, might be worth a look but be very wary as tbh it seems too cheap imo.

Does seem a bit cheap they can be picked up for around 3k. I paid around that for mine.
