Whilst I'm here I've noticed my brakes have developed a bit of travel. It had new Brembo high carbon discs/pads fitted immediately before I bought the car (October 2015) - they'd done about 2 miles before I picked it up. I've probably done about 5000 miles since then and rarely abuse them.
When I push down on the brake pedal there's a few inches of travel before it starts biting. When it does bite the pedal feels hard and not spongy but the car definitely feels less like I'm running into a brick wall when I stamp on them - though this could just be having got used to them. With the car off after a few pumps it goes solid much further up the pedal.
I've not took the wheels off to have a look but assuming the discs/pads are still good could it just need bleeding?
