Who here owns a Renaultsport?

Done a little more work on the Clio today, removed the inlet noise reducer valve and carbon canister. Made an air intake from where the front fog light was to the air box. Just need to get something to connect the pipe to the fog light surround a bit better.

Checked the belt/dephaser as no history and wanted to see if the belt was usable for now.. Tip-x marks, great, fills me with confidence thats its been timed up correctly!

Then went for a quick spin, it desperately needs tracking, tyres and a good nut and bolt check now

Looking smart! Is that the clear coat peeling off next to the wheel? Mine has a growing patch on the wing and door. Need to get it sorted but it looks like it's going to be about £350 :(.

It's not just the clear coat it's the paint as well :( I got another bumper so not worried. Tbh I'm going to leave it as its going to get wrecked with the racing and track days anyways

Ah damn. Least it is only the bumper though. Guess if you're racing it you can just bodge it a with a spray can!

This is my bald patch, when I got the car it was only a tiny little bit :(

The door has a big patch on too - you can see it under the mirror - so I think a respray will work out cheaper :/. It's a Trophy so I doubt I'd find too many wings/doors going in its colour :).

would not match anyway, would be pink or something :P

I recently joined the Renaultsport Club with a Megane rs250. I absolutely love it.

It's a 2010 Cup with Cloth Recaros and Yellow belts.

The car came with a Bluefin map on it which drives great. However I think I want to take it to RS Tuning in Leeds sometime to get it on the rollers and then see if they suggest a better map .

Phenomenal cars though. Makes me grin !

+1, keep your eyes out for group buys for remaps on Turbo Renault and the likes. I am hoping to go up early next year, long trip though.

After looking for a Clio 200 back in June and putting that on hold, I'm back looking now.

Clio 200
59 plate
51k
FF Cup (Red calipers, A/C, Recaros, Spoiler, TomTom)
White
4 previous owners

Having timing belt changed on Monday, but not water pump. Two of the wheels have scuffs.

Worth £6.5k?

That's what I paid for mine a year ago, same everything bar the Recaro's or TomTom. If i were doing the timing belt, I'd do everything in one go, and by a Renault Specialist as well. Don't leave it to a normal garage, special tools are needed to time it correctly.

It's via a generic big garage, which I've never bought a car from (always owners clubs for previous cars), so it's putting me off slightly but from the photos and spec it sounds pretty good.

Managed 37mpg average in my Megane rs250 over 200 miles this week. Not bad for something pushing 300bhp. Although to be honest it wasn't easy restraining myself.

That an at the pump figure?
If so that's not bad at all.. considering I get 44mpg in my 220bhp mazda 3 tractor :/

Nah afraid just from the trip computer (admittedly they arent always accurate). I managed as high as 39 for a while but it overall settled at 37.

I'll calculate pump numbers next time I fill up.

Doing my normal look at cars cause I'm bored in work routine.

Looking at 182/197 prices and came across a few 182 Trophy's, around a year ago I last checked I saw these we're going for around the £5-6k mark.

There's a few others up but are these guys jokers or are they now genuinely worth this much now?? Like magically shot up to Clio V6 money.
