Absolute madness. If anyone buys that they need their bumps feeling.
It's a piece of motoring history though and at that mileage, it is aimed at the collectors and people who value this sort of money like we would buying a hot wheels toy car.
The performance of the MKII V6 at the time was outstanding. There weren't many about anyway and they are still a rare sight. I have only seen a handful over the years actually on the road in the silver or blue. We are spoiled by the modern hot hatches but back then 150-200bhp and 0-60 in 6.5-7.5 was the typical hot hatch with a few outliers.
You can pay a lot less for good condition V6s with low mileage but that is as close to fresh out of the factory as you can probably find.
