Who here owns a Renaultsport?

Finally got the cup spoiler on my car properly with the brake light working. Yay. I think it looks MUCH better.

Sorry, the pictures are a bit crap.

I wouldn't bothered. But it does look nice.

Are your windows tinted?

Yes they are. Sometimes I like them, but I hate the 'image' that they give off, especially on a bloody Clio.

I've been contemplating removing them but I'm worried I'll mess it all up. I might give it a go this weekend though.

Looks good mate, personally I'd lose the tints though.

Still haven't got round to cleaning mine yet, this weather isn't exactly helpful :(

Interesting read.

Ive previously owned 2 306 Rallye's and i just thought it was Peugeot's that had niggly issues.

Saying that though, i spent £x,000 keeping them on the road but i couldn't help but love the tin cans!

Always loved the clio's and often contemplated getting one, however from what ive read, they are not too far apart from a 306 gti6/Rallye.

Not sure I did, what was the tip?

Basically the bits you screw the mounts into you can push side to side and crush them slightly up or down if you need to do any minor adjustments. Mines now sitting almost perfectly needs a little bit more tinkering and doesn't have any cable ties/sockets :)

That spoiler is one of the most pointless mods i've ever seen. Hope it wasn't expensive:p

haha. I'd hardly call it a mod. It's just the cup spoiler which came with one of the cup packs, which apparently my car had but I now realise it never had the spoiler/splitter cup pack. Picking this spoiler up cheap and adding a Skoda splitter has corrected that somewhat :p It's not as if it makes any ACTUAL difference to the car of course.

Once you get to over 100mph you can feel the splitter pushing the car down to the road, get onto an airfield and give it a try!

The 200 is a better car in every way. Test drive one!

I have, on track at a RS day. Didn't blow me away to be honest. It felt a bit more gutsy low down, and the brakes were impressive, but other than that it felt like a big barge compared to my 182.

Not the ideal comparison though, as my 182 is totally stripped out with harnesses etc, and on track set-up suspension.

I would agree that a 200 would probably be best as an everyday car though (apart from the huge fuel bills! ;))

Does anyone near Derby have an RS Tuner, that they could let me use for half an hour to upload a new map ?
I fancy remapping mine but dont fancy paying near full custom remap charges for something I will basicly use only once.

If you want to upload a map you also have to buy a new license for the RSTuner to work on your car, and I imagine a new license for the person you're borrowing it from in order for them to use it on their car again. The license is about 50 Euros.
