Who here owns a Subaru?

As long as they fixed his suspension and the person responsible is punished then I don't think they should be tarnished, it seems like the driver wanted his boss to fix the road more than to hurt the car.

Makes me angry though

Normally I'd agree, but reading some of the other forums this was posted in where the garage owner has come out and basically said the customer was 'a bit weird' and other choice words I have no sympathy for them, regardless if it was just a rogue employee.

Also makes reading the full Scoobynet thread funny with the amount of people sticking up for them saying there is no video, the guy is making it all up etc.

Just a quick pic as it's just come back from having fresh paint on the wing/bumper and a wheel refurb after a nice lady driver moved into my lane when she wasn't supposed to :p

Needs a front splitter going back on it. Waiting for replacement mudflaps from the repair centre - bolts were seized on the front bumper when they took it off to re-spray it, so they've ordered me a new set.

Oh and a smaller front numberplate.

Yeah it really is the owners/managements response that makes it for me tbh.

Could forgive a company for one of their employees actions as long as they put it right, but calling it a bluff and insulting the customer publicly etc is definitely not on at all.

My Scoobyclinic receipts are becoming paperweights faster and faster :p

Yeah , they call him out for travellling from Romford to Chesterfield, they are supposed to be absolute specialists, they should be proud they have a countrywide reputation and people will travel that far. Their attitude just astounds me.

I take my Typer from North Notts to Tdi in Warrington , why? Becauase i dont trust the dealers after a few intersting moments and because TDI have a great rep with Hondas. Its a 2 hour drive but its totally worth it for me as i believe my pride and joy will get the attention i want.

I first read about this when Kev (ScoobyClinic owner) posted on the MidlandsScoobies forum, basically saying the customer was a bit of a numpty. Fast forward to Sunday night and the MLR thread, Scoobynet thread and others were all hot.

The video is bad, but the lack of appropriate response from the owner has really not helped..

Man I was looking at them as a possibility to take my car to as it needs some major work, even though it's an epically long drive. Guess that's out the window, was hard enough trying to find somewhere decent around here!

Even though it's a single event, it shows a very negative attitude towards their customers in general, just can't take the chance. Wouldn't have even second thought it if he'd just come out and apologised and sacked the guy. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

The clutch/flywheel I ordered on the 7th still haven't turned up and Aztec Performance/SuperHIDs don't seem to respond to e-mails/calls.

I'm a bit surprised given their stature on Scoobynet so am wondering if something unforseen has happened.

I've posted on Scoobynet to see if anyone has any info but am gathering this will end up with me having to request a refund through PayPal.

Had this years ago with some H&R springs for the Rover, slightly annoyed given this order was for a lot more money!

How weird! I've got Bob from Aztec as a friend on Facebook... let me check if he's put any status or anything...

EDIT - Nope, nothing untoward, but two people have posted on his wall asking for a response.

I've just found Bob on FB and have sent him a message.

Very strange... I can see they have a good reputation, hopefully it's nothing serious and someone will come up with an explanation soon.

I can only see limited posts on his wall so if you spot anything, give me a nudge :)

Cheers Kosta.

I've just checked the insurance database and my white hawkeye I sold in October is now showing as not insured :(

I hope it hasn't been written off in an accident....
