Who here owns a Subaru?

Can someone tell me what the engine code for 2003 Impreza WRX STi Type UK is? What sort of price would you expect to pay for a coil pack? I just got a quote for £1176!

anyone got any spare wheel/wheels? I have 97 gc8 with 2000 turbo 6 spokes and one of the wheels is buckled.

Chaps, i'm looking for a gold paint to use on the new speedline alloys, anyone know of the right subaru gold colour I should be looking at?

I've now had the Cobra decat downpipe, centre pipe and backbox fitted.

Remap being done on Monday by Engine Mapper in Chester.

The car sounds so good now, but is over fueling a little due to needing the map. Going to avoid driving it till Monday now!

That guys ace he did my remap earlier in the year, a very knowledgeable guy to talk to.

You can drive it dude, just don't give it too much welly. :)

I have used my car for short trips and not really let it go above 3.5k RPM :)

I am having the secondary air pump mapped out of the car (cos I haven't got round to replacing it yet) ECU light on my dash still, but I check I have no other codes everytime I get into the car)

Anyone with an knowledge knows that the pump is useless anyway. Stupid EUI emissions law - it bascially comes on for 30secs when cold to reduce gas then goes off... its not required, and I wasnt paying £750 for a new pump lol.

Anyway I'm getting a little excited now :)

O and make sure it's mapped on either V-Power or Tesco momentum for the best results ;)

I have half a tank of Esso Super Unleaded at the moment. I will fill up with V-Power shortly before I get to him. Should use at least 1/4 of a tank getting to chester in the morning, so at least 3/4's V-Power should be cool, right?

I'm replacing mine, paid £100 for the pump via a forum as many remove them when modding + £220 for the air valve which jams causing the pump to fail + the cost of labor. Should have just got it blanked and mapped out to save future problems.

Apparently Audi, Mercedes and others have the same problem.

Just got to work after my trip to Wales for my remap.

Very very pleased with the results.

Red is the new data, Blue is prior to the remap

The torque and mid-range power improvements are epic and is what you use in everyday driving. So much more usable power, suspect that will help improve mpg's too as you don't need to hit the loud pedal as much, or you might just become addicted to that torque and it drink more fuels. :D

Great, it really pulls now. It has transformed the car.

You turned your nose up at me buying another WRX over an STi, but haha, I have always wanted a white hawkeye as I have been telling you for 2 years. I have both effectively (minus the the suspension and seats got an STI)
