Who here owns a Subaru?

And the 6 speed gearbox, and the brakes, and the adjustable differential, and the stronger engine, bigger turbo, intercooler etc? ;)

What you have is a hawkeye WRX with a remap, some wheels and a spoiler :p

Glad you're enjoying it, but don't get a "boost" lol :D

No, I have bought a VF43 for the time being. Hoping it's a good one, fitting it tomorrow night and will get a remap in before the RR day.

Once I get mine back I will swap it out and the VF43 will likely be for sale.

Every morning when I start my car up the alarm goes off for about half a second, but it doesn't do it again unless it's really cold (that's what I've noticed - I could be wrong).

How do I stop it from doing it? The car has an immobiliser which as far as I know is standard - I have however noticed that there are two alarm noises... One is like a siren, and the other like a beep (which I've only heard once).

I can't help but think this is annoying my neighbours so would like to get it sorted out.

Thanks in advance.

I recently removed the baileys vta dump valve and the k&n typhoon induction kit then refitted the standard airbox (with paper filter) and the standard recirc valve. I then had Bob Rawle remap it and ended up with 343bhp + 323ft/Ibs of torque. The car feels far less laggy now as well, there was a flat spot below 3k rpm before and it was especially bad when the engine was cold. Bob appears to have mapped this out and made the car easier to drive (great as it is my daily driver). This is the graph he sent to me after the mapping session:

Can anyone recommend a Subaru parts website? My engine lit has come on for the third time in very little time. Had the spark plugs changed because of a misfire, then the coil pack and now the light is back on. Last time when it went into the garage the faults were misfire on cylinder 2 and either camshaft or crankshaft sensor (can't remember which) .

Hopefully the sensor will be the cause of the cel!
