I've not used the CSC5's, only the 3's (which wore very quickly but were acknowledged as doing so). I've got a set of Goodyear F1 AS2's on at the moment, and I absolutely love them - whereas I got 12k out of the CSC3's, I'm not far off 20k in the AS2's, and there's still the best part of 4mm of tread on the tires.

I only got 9k out of the CSC3s. Like you, I also went for F1 AS2s afterwards and love them.

Looks like in this cold weather I'm losing 1-2mpg so I'm getting around 20mpg now.

Picture really does not do it any justice of how dirty it really is:

Was in the van last night behind another blue ST220. Really is a awesome looking car when it is all nice and shiny, especially the blue at night.

Traffic light GP? Not surprised...

No, it was the early 1.8 20v fr. Not sure whether it was tuned or he just wanted a revo sticker on his back.

Was rolling and I went to overtake so he decided to put his foot down and I just overtook with all my torques. I expected to get owned by him, but didn't. Was at lol speed. He smiled and acknowledged my diesel.

Rybo give that thing a wash!

I was following my car as it was being driven by JanesyB at the RR and I didn't realise how awesome the exhaust sounded from outside let alone from in another car :)

Down under mate!
Price?

Did you ever notice the white puff of smoke on startup/hunting? I think mine may be on their way out. Did they need coding again to the car, and was it through a delphi specialist?

Yeah I had erratic idle at startup with the dreaded white cloud of smoke every time. Highly embarrassing.:o

Used a company called Mondeo-spares who charged £100 per injector so £400 all in. The guy who removed my injectors marked the injectors 1,2,3,4 so to avoid having to have them recoded when putting them back in.

They're in the process of getting delphi approved. Like driving a new car again. :)

It was either:

a) Being driven by somebody who didn't put his foot down
b) In 5th gear
c) Broken
d) a 1.2

I don't get erratic idle, however I do get it when I put it into reverse first thing in the morning to back out. Only ever in reverse. I only ever get puff of white smoke first thing in the morning, otherwise I never get it. No smoke, or any performance issues.

And yes fox he probably did have it in 5th and didn't drop a gear. Or it was a FR replica which is common in these parts. I wish I had remembered the plate then I could have checked online.

EDIT: Rybo did you ever manage to sell your friends GTA? If so how much?

He has still got it. Slapped 6 months tax and 12 months MOT on it now i think.

Think he is after a silly low amount for it £2500, sure he could be knocked a tiny bit.

If you do want to check it out, don't expect it to be a gem. It has its age related marks and some rust on one of the arches i think (could have been sorted, not sure). Nothing to ruin the look of it.

I borrowed it the other month when he took my car for an MOT. Goes like **** off a shovel, not a bad place to be in either.
