Maybe the problem is that with the CPU it is unreleased yet. So people don't have a clue what it actually is! If the prize was (for example) an SLI pair of Gainward GTX 580 3GB Phantoms they'd be weeing themselves with excitement as they know how good they are!

To answer those with facebook privacy settings to allow friends ONLY simply join the OcUK fan page and OcUK group on facebook and that should allow your page with status update to be viewed.

In the same way that it was hinted real photographs would likely stand a better chance than photoshop creations, will people using their real facebook/twitter accounts (and thus generating you some real marketing) likely stand a better 'chance' than someone who has just created a pair of throwaway accounts that no one will ever look at?

The best image will win. Once the image is chosen the requirements of facebook etc will be reviewed to ensure the entry complies with all requirements.

it is a nice compatition if you win and already have both twitter and facebook, also is creative in that way...it would take me a month of sundays to do that to high qualtiy anyways ( as I will have to get the software than get used to it) plus I don't want to sign up for twitter, not even for this as no one will see it anyways, even if I do win ( which again is unlikey)

so I will be giving this a miss as well maybe next time
