lol, yeah used to have 256kb sticks, 4 of those made up 1 mb and then another 4 with 1 mb each ... Couldn't really afford decent hardware back then so I used whatever I could to give me an edge :) oh yeah and I started with a black and white screen.
Interesting :)

Wow, very close on the voting.

If I had the disposable income I'd get the 1080ti the second it hits stores. But because I've got to be careful-ish with money I'll wait to see what Vega can do. Who knows there might even be some deals on the ti anyway by that point? :)

Agreed, however I certainly wont be buying the 1080ti as I love aio's and i reckon the 108ti aio will be too rich for me. I am interested in what Vega brings to the table though.

I'm happy with my 1070s performance at 1440p144 so doubt I will go for the 1080Ti. I run BF1 with a mix of ultra and low settings to maintain 144fps and it still looks fantastic. It would be a nice jump though and I wouldn't upgrade for anything less, unless the price difference to a 1080 isn't very much.

Well seeing as i only begrudgingly paid 400 quid for a 1070 last year due to silly second hand prices on the 980ti, i don't think I'll be paying whatever silly price nvidia dream up for the 1080ti ;)
