Who? I haven't heard this before? I will always go EVGA personally. They have the best warranty out of any company. They even do guest RMA. Don't think any other card partner do that.

Think it was down to EVGA being slow to market and then the whole 1070 cooking themselves saga.

How many are buying the FE cards compared to custom? I'm tempted to get the FE to but not sure :s

I'm getting FE but it's going under water so the cooler doesn't matter to me.

I'll will be ordering an FE unless custom are out within a couple of weeks, I have the money burning a hole in my pocket and it has been for a couple of weeks.

I'll be getting one, upgrading from a 980ti though I'll be waiting for an asus one most likely.

Anyone have any idea how much a 2nd hand 980ti will go for when the 1080ti is out?

Your looking at £200-£250 i think as you can pick up b grade 1070 for £299 but i have noticed it has been sold since yesterday when it was on the store :p

The potential upshot of the Evga heating isssue is if you went for the ICX upgrade it resets the step up option and move to a more expensive card. Waiting to see what the offer exactly is for the classified which is yet to be announced.
