Timelords are getting younger all the time :-/ To be honest Matt Smith looks like he should be in Hollyoaks* and not in Dr Who.

Bring back Wiliam Hartnell + more grandfatherly type timelords I say.

* Not that I watch Hollyoaks.

I don't think the choice is too bad to be honest, I can see him as the Doctor. Age shouldn't really be a factor, what does it matter that he's young? Its how he plays the part that counts. I'm likely to get blasted for this, but Doctor Who is basically a glorified kids show, so would kids really be interested if they got a pensioner to play the role?

Because Peter Cushing never fitted in to series canon (due to being concurrent with another doctor's time), whereas Mcgann did?
