Who's in to electric RC cars?

Couple of pics of mine.

Spent some more money on my Savage

Despite upgrading my shocks to alloy items I still kept breaking them, so I replaced them with these bad boys:

That's one of my new shocks next to one of the shocks it is replacing. The new ones are Innovative RC Big Bore V2 shocks, the quality of them are incredible and with a ridiculous 8mm shaft they won't be breaking any time soon.....

Now, they are shocks! I think they're bigger than the ones on my truggy

Great mod, I am thinking of upgrading the shocks on my Savage too.

Do you have a list of the items you used with link to purchase from?

Edit: forgot to ask, how much did it all cost?

I take it the middle one is the petrol? What is it?

Its an HPI Baja 5B SS with a few upgrades, more reliability upgrades than performance as I take it with me for day meets so don't want it breaking within the first half hour!

Bought it as a kit as, for me anyway, half the fun is building them. All my cars have been kits apart from the LRP Blast.

Do want! But can't afford one :(

What are the 2 nitros you have?

She sure is stunning! Pricey though :(

Do you think I would be able to convert my old 1/10th Electric OnRoad and OffRoad cars/buggys to take lipo's?

They're in the box waiting for some fun! Used to have a blast with them drifting in dust/gravel :(

Like!

Both the nitro's are quite old models now, an ansmann virus and vapor.
If I was going to get another nitro it would most likely be a Hyper 7.

I've heard the hyper 7 is quite good, not quite cut out for racing that much but good for bashing. I've got a Mugen truggy and Losing 8ight 2.0 kicking about. The Mugen is used for racing, its an awesome car

Without knowing exactly what you have its hard to say but most 1/10th cars use standard size motors. You would need to remove the old ESC and brushed motor and replace with a brushless motor and compatible ESC. Its usually pretty simple.

Some newer brushed motors and ESC's can work with lipo's but I never had any success with them, the LIPO would just burn the motor out after a bit of use. If you want to go LIPO then might as well go the whole way and get a brushless setup.
