who's on chrome?

im still undecided if i should swap from ff to chrome as i use ff for all my banking and so on?

i know the "which browser is more secure?" is more down to the user than the browser itself, but is google chrome ok to do your banking on as i thought i heard someone say that they monitor everything you do on chrome???

Whoever said they monitor everything you do is completely wrong.

Internet banking on Chrome is just as safe as Internet banking on any browser.

In chrome you can simply right click > edit & remove the name of the bookmark.

You can also pin tabs, which is brilliant :D

Can anyone tell me how to add the little favourite icons like in the image ?

thanks

These just add themself, you don't have to do anything, just drag and drop your favourites websites and it'll add an image (it works for most websties).

i dragged from my bookmarks, then edited the name, in the case of mini icons.... removed the name

I have problem with chrome and I just wondered if anyone else has experienced it.

Basically for certain files I want to open say a PDF, I would like it to automatically open without saving to the default download directory.

I have downloaded a PDF, and clicked the arrow next to the downloaded file and selected Always open this file. So PDF's now open automatically but the file is then saved to my default download directory, which I don't want. (I would rather it was stored in a temp folder)

I have downloaded the dev build 7.0.503.0 and now the download does not stay on the download bar, however it is still saved in my default download location.

If anyone else has experienced this what have you done?

A) just ignored it, and manually deleted the file

B) found an Extension to overcome the issue?

I have always used firefox in the past and still have it installed now.

I now use Chrome as my main browser,it just feels a little more snappier and i like the whole setup of the whole browser.

I must admit i have recently made the switch from firefox to Chrome, despite being a firefox fan boi for quite some time. Chrome is infinately closer to Apple's 'just works' model than firefox is, which i find these days is slow, unimpressive and counter intuitive.

Rock on chrome.
