If this is accurate I'm going for the 5070ti instead of the 5080.
Never thought the 4080 performance was worth £1000-1200 so I'm not paying the same amount for +15% 2 years later. Was sure it was going to be 30%+.

If all of them uplifts are with RT then its going to be even lower on just raster performance.. that in my opinion is pretty crap.

I`m far from knowlageable but they went from 5nm to 4nm. I think that may have limited the gains they could get perhaps.
The shrinks between generations seemed considerably larger in the past unless I`m missing something.

Correct; after all Nvidia is claiming Blackwell has 2x faster RT cores than ADA, so if that translates into 15-30% real world then it's not great

If it's only 15% rise for a 5080 ill probably get the 9070xt if it comes out at around £500, it would be a no brainer if the expected figures are accurate it would be the best value card this generation.

this is such a potential win for AMD, I hope their marketing department realises and gets the price right. If 5080 is 15% faster than a 4080 and 9070xt is as fast as a 4080 or little faster then I can 9070xt selling like hot cakes if priced for £550-£650 range. Everything is in the air till we get reviews but this might not be total loss for AMD, they might have a total winner and force Nvidia to drop prices.

Nvidia have dropped the ball if those leaks are correct, cant see many 4090 owners selling up and upgrading not for 30% performance and lots of fake frames for £2000. But AI bots will swallow up every 5090 withing sight for that 32GB, could be totally wrong however, nothing follows logic anymore.

This is quite disappointing, even more confused now where to jump to from a 3080.
