Why are some people so against others doing well

I am not sure how that proves the thread.

If you did get an A* then maybe you should consider applying that knowledge. English is not my first language and yet I make an effort to make my posts coherent for other forums members. If you want people to take you seriously then maybe a little more time and attention are required.

If you are just here to troll and brag then I would wager people will not be against you for your salary but more for the exhibition of smugness.

Your English is considerably better than most people who speak it as their first Language. Considerably better.

Oh but I have, Xordium..Otherwise I wouldn't be in the fortunate position I am!

But outside of the workplace, I couldn't give two ****s about what I write in a forum full of random people - you aren't going to give me the next leg up the slippery slope are you? So get off your high horse and start working smarter in the real world and maybe you will get there too.

Banking..

Don't be fooled by the jargon - anyone can do it :)

unfortunately I wouldn't I have always hated accounting and I am sure that banking involves that as well as business management. I might get into the business game one day but not in banking. Sadly not my cuppa. Maybe if all else fails I will give it a shot a bull**** my way into it by saying that I have always been interested in it yadda yadda but thats a last chace choice there :)

the bf is a banker, and doesn't really do any accounting. all managing clients, gets an eye watering amount of money for it too.

What part of my post does that address. It does not make sense.

And yet you post here.

Correct you wouldn't have the requisite skillset I am afraid.

It's always best to check what people do when you make assertions like that. Not that I would ever judge my salary as being a criteria for 'getting there'. I know some people do, it seems to be that you do, but personally I think life is a bit more than that.

We all judge success differently which was my point a while back. You came into this thread saying effectively look at me I earn a six figure sum at the age of 28. Now for me that's just a number - I looked at Dimple's post, he does what he enjoys, he is happy with Mrs Dimple and his daughter has done him proud. Now to me that is success.
