That should be the job of those that are involved in the meat circle of life. My bit is I don't eat animals.

Prohibitions/practices based on 3,000 year old food hygiene advice shouldn’t be tolerated today, regardless of the Imaginary Sky Friend Handbook they’re quoted from.

What’s with the swearing? Why are you so angry? This is what I mean, I want better animal welfare but I sure am not going to help your cause if I am being attacked by you. What happen is that you turn the other person to dig deeper into their ground to do the opposite and not care and get another steak for dinner.

We want to offer an olive branch, you vegans comes back with insults.

My cause? It isnt my cause. I dont contribute to animal slaughter for my food products. Why should I be campaigning so you can feel less guilty?

You really are using a stupid argument to try to make a point. That is more insulting than anything else.

There have been no olive branches offered by people like you (animal product users.). Just childish insults.

It is evident that some vegans think they treat animals better but forget treating other human beings better. So much angst in your posts.

Ps I’m don’t have guilt eating meat…that’s why I eat meat, if I feel guilty about it, I would be vegan.

Btw, your post about promoting veganism RIGHT now is a form of campaigning. If you are not then you wouldn’t be here pushing your agenda.

I’m saying eat what you want to eat, let others be. Why are you pushing your values into other people’a private life.

Is that not sensible? Or is the sensible thing be swearing at people? Calling them abusers of animals, calling them they have no morals?

See, why are you attacking me personally? Saying “I used to be sensible”. Why the attacking tone? I’m not attacking you. I’ve not sworn once.

On the subject of reducing animals being killed, i and many others have suggested the solution is not veganism. If you want to campaign and push for better animal welfare, i and many others would be happy to help. Donations and what not. Attacking us like you are. We’ll happy to spend that money on a Ribeye instead.

I think poor animal welfare has been mentioned more than once in this thread, so ancient inhumane slaughter practices are somewhat germain to this discussion.

I am not a vegan I just dont eat dead or animal products that come from processes that I find brutal or unnecessary. I will happily eat an egg that hasnt come from an egg farm.

To clarify. I think the killing or mistreatment of animals for food is unnecessary as there are alternatives. I like my animals to be alive and because of that I choose not to eat them.

Its like people freaking out about people eating dog meat. Its all the same thing to me.

Mistreatment is unnecessary I agree. Killing though, no. I prefer my animals dead when I eat them.

I AM NOT A VEGAN AND AM NOT CAMPAIGNING.


I am not a vegan but I dont use animal products except eggs. I do, like most of the people that eat things eat a lot of vegan things. I just ate an apple. Im a monster.
