Why are YOU single?

Which college/uni did you goto that only had 30/100 students?

North Tyneside College. Course was 60 people total, split into 2 groups of 30, so you only ever really knew half of the people. BTEC IT Practitioners.

Northumbria Uni. Theres only about 60 of us actually doing Computer Science, but the modules interlace with other courses, so you end up with a a lot of people you dont know.

I'm also currently pining over one boy who's rejected me on more than one occasion. Pursue relentlessly! :p I am crazy. I warn you.

But yeah, advances don't even register cause this bloke is constantly on the brain.

O.k just though i add my bit

I,m single

why
She dumped me after 4 1/2 years (i had even bought the ******* engagment ring was going to do it on new years eve).

so few months have passed and i have a empty space that only a gf can fill ( well its how i feel).

Dont seem to have a problem getting girls, just getting fed up with the one night stands (why do girls want to be erm... buddies now, i blame sex and the city !!!!!). Another thing is not looking my age so the younger girls like me loads while the >24 yrlds ones think they are much older than me and point me to the teeny boppers!!!

tis not fair

ok rant over sorry all for wasting 2 mins of your time

:(

I dont like being single I have always been with someone only to get dumped after x years for x excuse or my best friend (long storie)

I know exactly what your saying. My uni has dedicated buildings, and the one i use is Computing and Engineering, you try finding a female in that building, its nearly not doable.

Had 2 years at college, and between 30 of us there were 2 lasses, one lovely, but taken and the other a total tart that you wouldnt touch with a barge pole. Same deal at uni, 100 students, 2 lasses plus that tart I went to college with.....great.

I went to Newcastle Uni too and did Computer Science (graduated in july), and by some unknown miracle there was a super hot girl on the same course who also lived in the same halls as me (St Mary's). Needless to say, i'm going out with her now and haven't been happier. :)

Lol, the gods honest truth to that simple question, even though im 18, i just seriously cannot....be...arsed. (for the last 3-4 years)

My attitude will have changed in the near future though, ive never had a single serious relationship, because in school, dam, it was hell, i was a little maturer than most and i just couldnt be arsed with the little teenager/kiddy **** people do, you know what im talking about, the pressure, and pursuasive talk you get off your mates, hated it, i was one for, if someone told you what to do, i was thinking to myself, am i just going to do it because my mate told me too ?, so i didnt do it because of that reason.

and i need to get out more...

I'm doing Computer and Network Technology and at Northumbria - trust me, its worse :)

Our class is just a bunch of wierdo's and misfits - oh and not on girl!. I wouldn't be surprised if I've had a class with you already mate!

I went to Northumbria on a Computer Science course, there were very few girls in my classes so I went to Reds\Bar One. That pretty much solved that problem straight away. You don't have to find someone on your course. :)

Do Universities not have Student Union bars anymore?!?!?!, I went to Uni some 7 years ago and did a Business Computing Degree, no girls on the course, but with no suprise the uni was bursting with women just walking around the place, and the student union had a plethora of ladies drinking in merriment. Have some balls and talk to one of them! You want an 'in', then offer to buy then a drink, it really is that easy.

Yup, you don't even need to offer to buy drinks or anything like that. Go to the bar, even during the day and just introduce yourself to people. "I've not met any new people this week, I'm fixing that. My names Murf. How're you guys doing?"

The first step is by far and away the most difficult. I guarantee you if you forced yourself to introduce yourself to 10-12 people during the course of say one day though you'd feel a lot better about doing it, and less nervous.

So try that, or cocaine. Either one. :p

Iirc it's down to religous beliefs, I think Ray is indian and as such has obligations to his family.

KaHn

When did you last see an Indian with the surname Lin? :p

Iirc Ray is originally from Hong Kong. But same principle with family more than likely applies ;)

Edit:- Not single either, so really can't comment on this thread. Haven't been single collectivley for about 6/7 years.
