Why you SHOULD be using Firefox

The last few versions of FF haven't been good releases.

They had a confirmed bug (which they said they fixed) where on some sites the browser would freeze for a few secs then unfreeze.

With the recent release I've seen it still happening and they said they fixed it...

It is probably this bug.

But it is still present for me in the latest version.

Is this not just a storm in a tea cup?

Have they actually changed behind the scenes their processes such that a change in the privacy policy seems suspicious?

It could just be some law somewhere has necessitated the need to update the privacy policy and the use of our data has not actually changed.

They've removed any sections that said they won't share user data from their privacy statement and terms of service.

How does this differ compared to Google and Microsoft?

What worries me is people blowing things out of proportion, possibly leading to the demise of Firefox. I hope not.

The tab group thing doesn't seem to work for me in 137. The instructions are grab a tab and pull it slightly over another and it will create a group.

Not over here it doesn't.

Article also mentions that they might want to take Android away from Google too.

That doesn't sound good too me. We need a quality company driving the evolution of the platform.

Its been years that it hasn’t worked but the favicon for Santander when you add it to you’re bookmarks tool bar doesn’t display the icon.

It used to work years ago but never figured out a fix.

Any ideas?

It could be related to this issue.

Although the favicon works fine in Edge.
