Why you SHOULD be using Firefox

Oh that is odd - it worked fine first time loading the page, and if I clear cache/cookies but any subsequent time does take multiple clicks.

EDIT: It isn't even that, randomly it works or doesn't work each time the page is loaded.

Yup that's what I found too, after you said it was working for you I tried it again and it was working!

Also go down to the section: related posts. Try clicking the links they don't work first time.

Revenue. They need a way to bring in more revenue, maybe acquiring such a company will help with that.

They are sort of going down the Brave route with Firefox.

This should be OFF by default, why would anyone want this ON?

Agree. Rather than turning it on by default and not telling the end user, when you load up the browser for the first time after an update it should give you a button to turn on or off the feature and explain to you what it is and why it's needed.

Turning it on by default the issue is as it's essentially a beta feature they are testing there is the high possibility that something doesn't work correctly and it causes some exposure of personal data or whatever.

Even better would be to do the above but in the nightly, canary and maybe beta builds but not in the main release.

It's a beta feature and doesn't belong in the main release.

Well this really annoys me....

Mozilla removed the ability from the browser to send feedback to them about websites not working.

For months now the UK river website has been running super slow. I put it down to them.

However I have just realized the issue isn’t them but Firefox!

It runs super slow, loads incompletely and I have to refresh to get it to load.

And I cant even send them feedback that the website is not working properly in Firefox!

Ok so I just tried the digital river on a other computer (no shared profile etc) and it does the same thing. Hanging connection then partial load.

I am using Clouflare DNS... I might try Google.

So I have switched to Google DNS and it is now much better.... not perfect there are still some parts of the digital river that hang or take a while but it is much much improved compared to using Cloudflare for DNS.

Initially it seemed better but now it is going back to hanging.
