I'm not a fan of how some options are enabled by default, in Settings > Search > Address Bar - Firefox Suggest. The options which appear to be enabled by default are:
That in turn means that the end of the line for some legacy OSes is creeping nearer. The previous ESR, Firefox 115 from July 2023, was the last version for Windows 7 and 8.x as well as macOS 10.13 "High Sierra" and 10.14 "Mojave." That old Firefox is still in maintenance. The latest point release, Firefox 115.25.0, appeared on June 23 – so those old PCs and Macs still have a reasonably safe current browser for now. As we reported when version 128 came out, the team is keeping 115 alive as long as they can. One estimate says that the 2023 ESR will get updates until this coming September.

YouTube has been a bit rubbish for the last version, not refreshing, have to press F5 and then it takes 5+ seconds. Could be YouTube vs uBlock fighting?

Does FreeTube use your previous viewing history to give you video recommendations just as YouTube does, or do you need to subscribe to a channel to keep seeing new videos from that channel?As for YouTube I just use FreeTube.

Looks like chrome has finally disabled ublock origin for many users today including myself, I will never browse without an adblocker, so I have moved over to Firefox. Bye chrome.
