I get what you mean, but at least he didn't post his question on Facebook. Questions tend to get a better response on a forum and @teenwolf has been here long enough to know our posting style here (including the troll posts sometimes seen on GD). It's not like someone with a post count of 1 and knowingly that this is a computer forum.

The other site he could have posted this was Reddit as that's not a million miles away from being a forum. Redditors tend to be quite helpful as long as he picks the most relevant sub-reddit to post on.

i'm pretty sure youer entitled to at least a share. but if you havent paid anything in last 2 years then it might be on pro-rata.

there was a case of an unmarried couple who split and the partner not on the lease was able to claim on it as they were living togeather for so long and could prove they were paying/contributing.

If still married - then you need to seek legal advice - If you made contributions to the upkeep/bills etc of the property whilst you were married/living there - then you have some potential rights to proceeds from the sale.

But it will cost you a lot in legal arguments to get anywhere.

People go and put an EX in front of it regardless

So
My other halfs parents got divorced 10 years ago after being separated for 11 years. She wanted to remarry.
They still had to split 50:50
Although amicable so only split the house 50:50

A mod replied earlier that it apparently happens when they get a legal request from OCUK.

Presumably, some people have not only quit but also made a formal request to delete their data or something.
