WikiLeaks Set To Reveal US-UFO War In Southern Ocean

Apes have opposing thumbs and their intelligent. Nature could invent allsorts of limbs to use tools we had yet to imagine.
I believe life is prevalent throughout the Universe and far more advanced than we could ever reach, where little more than advanced apes, still killing each other for petty reasons.

Odds are they are too.

The Arab you refer to was probably the translation of Aryabhatiya in the 8/9th century which was written half a millennia before Christ.

Ibn Hazm, was who i was referring to, who had helped calculate the Earth's circumfrance to within 200km of the truth. It appears disputed as to where this happened first and frankly, i dont really care.

Regardless, I was merely responding to your needless and objectionable reply to my post. It should have been painfully obvious that I wasn't being calculated or specific, and even taking the time to disprove my playful discussion is wildly off-topic.

Having looked up some of your other posts though, it appears clear that you thrive on argument for the sake of argument, and even managed to turn an entire thread against yourself elsewhere on the board.

So have fun with that.

None of them have opposable thumbs, i really think this is more important in evolutiory terms than intelligence, with out them. Our intelligence would be pointless and we woukd look like every other basic tool using animal.

I'd heard it argued that whilst Opposable Thumbs were useful, it was actually the voice-box that changed the way Humans evolved, as more complex methods of communication were what pushed us ahead of the apes. QI maybe? cant remember.

Well in evolutionary terms they're really just where we were not so long ago, maybe a few hundred thousand to a million years ago.

No a dolphin will always be just that, just a dolphin, what it was created to be.
Who knows though all things are possible, I just don't think dolphins were created with the responsibilties or abilities we were given.

Sorry you feel that way. People's claims I would have thought was a perfectly acceptable thing to discuss in a discussion forum. But hey ho, some are more sensitive than others I suppose. Discussion in discussion forum being needless and objectionable is a new one on me....

I'll make a point to avoid your posts in future as you wish.

You are correct that I like argument (the debating type, not the screaming one), it's why I participate on a discussion forum. I can be overzealous I'll admit, it's a failing of mine.

People always talk about dolphins being super intelligent, great you can click in something that may be in some way a form of communication better than every other animals, but look at termites and ants, they build colonies and towers that are skyscrapers to them and they farm, the have ventilation shafts and heating.

They're ****ing smart if I see flipper build a farm maybe just maybe I'll think of him as something other than a sandwich waiting to happen.

Thats a pretty short sighted view to take really. Why would Dolphins need to build farms. They live in the Ocean and farm the Ocean

In all honesty i think we over-estimate the ability of aliens coming to Earth. Espically in the last 20 years. Yes they can cross great distances but do they have advanced weapons? Or more importantly, some kind of defenive sheld to protect them from human attacks? Unlikely. I think if they wanted to invade us then they would have their asses handed to them on a plate. for good or bad, we humans are extraordinary violent and we have an obscene amount and array of different weapons.

Tbh they wouldn't need to, if they can get here they can destroy us.

WE have no weapons that could get to the kind of range the moon is at in under a few days.

an all they need to do is have something rather big an heavy flung at us rather quickly and that's it America wiped off the map an the rest of the world to follow.

Same reasons humans needed them.

also the less they have to travel the less likely they are to run into a human hunting party.

How can you possibly think like that, we are no more violent than other creatures. if they can travel light years. then they have discovered all the weapons we have and more. By the process of simple physics.

ABSOLUTELY.
I want to believe and I've chased UFO/Alien stories for 39 years.
I can't wait for the day when SETI announces a genuine transmission but I'm getting older and sadly it's more than likely won't happen before I die.

If there is no certain way to ascertain the truth of the matter then i'm afraid you are in for a long wait.

But then even if we do get confirmation by governments either of communication signals from distant plants evidencing e.t. OR that our governments are currently negotiating with E.T. on technologies, medicines etc.

What difference does it make? Things like this the powers that be will try to assimilate or fit into the current world paradigm (how we currently live). So in effect nothing will change that we would see. (assuming a positive or neutral relationship with e.t.)

However if it would mark a change from capitalism, consumerism and self-obsessed individualistic society to something else....more idealistic then i'm all for it.

They probably got some form of 'Galactic society for the protection of humans' charitable pressure group roaming about stopping the interstellar slingshot systems from engaging.....
