Of course it is. Nobody has been talking about them in several years gone as the viewers were dropping away greatly. Here we are, the super rich elite creating a fiasco to get the clicks and viewings to generate for them to tune in next year for the next scandal.

We swear that you won’t be arrested, Chris is in on this. But your reputation is going to take a massive hit, nobody will remember you winning this Oscar, everyone else on the night who won, nobody will remember who won what, you might even get cancelled and not get a job for a few years, they will scrutinise your wife's illness even more, your marriage will be in the spotlight.

His answer:

"Yes, let's do this. I will get that Oscar. I don't need to work anymore, I am rich, who cares what they think about me. Let them cancel me. I don't care about people scrunitise our marriage or Jada's illness, don't care about either of those, I get an Oscar!

You know what's going to be good? I will pretend to laugh first, Jada will roll her eyes and then I will storm up there and SLAP. Oh oh oh, I will make it more believable to swear on live TV after, i will say the F word, oh wait, I will do it twice just to make it more convicing.

And the movie that I am up for an award for, it's also the perfect cover, protecting my family, yes, I will do that.

So I will get an Oscar right? "
 
Ahh the old "I have enough money so I will risk the rest of my career and a massive backlash against me and my family" decision. If really rich people didn't care about making as much money as possible they wouldn't demand massive fees for films, adverts, social media posts once they hit a certain wealth. Unsurprisingly, they never do.

Its utterly amazing that people think this was staged. The only way they would have staged this is by making it a "bit" and it would have been immediately obvious that it was one straight after because they would have made a joke out of it.

Something like that. The same kinds of people who are anti-vax. Because they know the truth.

I don't believe it was a set-up. Rock didn't even blink or flinch when Smith was right in front of him and his forced grin said, "aghh I'm not comfortable". He then looked visibly shocked afterwards.
