Windows 10 Full Creator Update - Huge Gain

Wonder if its actually intended or like I had after one update where some settings windows were just a jumble of random settings/controls or largely blank when there was supposed to be stuff there.

Per game, you need to press the windows button and g, then go to the settings cog and enable it for this game.

All Games I test will be 1440p Ultra, Minus any Blur effects.

Game mode has been in there since the previous update. It's rubbish.

The previous iteration was pants. This version wont make a big difference but a few fps is a fps. As long as things aren't worse then there isn't any reason not to use it.

I'm not too suborn to remove it but its just another thing you have to do after W10 gets a big update and they get re installed or it decides that the features I have disabled should be enabled.

So going forward if you uninstall inbox apps they will not return when you install the next feature update.

I updated via insider program in settings if that's the correct way. After a long update I'm happy to say that microsoft games via the store app now let you set the volume via the Volume Mixer !!! small thing but it was a MAJOR bugbear for me before.

Yeah, I'm getting much better performance across the board, and the update was pretty quick. For once in a while, this is a great update from Microsoft!

Looking at the FPS counter ingame and turning it on and off I see no difference, am I missing something?

What were you expecting? The settings are per game. When in game press windows key and "g" to open the game bar (careful saying that in Brighton) where you can have a play with the settings such as disable or enable it for that game.

This... the option to turn it on.
