How is everyone finding the nvidia drivers for windows 10?

I am really looking forward to this os!!!! Don't even mind waiting till possibly October but I think I'm going to install in a vm again next week and give some feedback :)

Pumped 50 hours into The Witcher 3 with no issues.

nothing official.

but going by rumours, OEM's are getting it in june, and release / launch date in late july, and the first feature update in October

MS could be doing differently this time round.

I would not give that too much credence - just rumours, imho it would be too soon. It is coming along nicely, but nowhere near fully cooked yet.

We will see though.

I would ignore those rumours, there's a reason it's always been 3 months between RTM and release, to allow OEMs, to finalise equipment, get image to the manufactures to put in said devices and then get devices to the stores ready for launch day.

Shipping alone from china is two weeks.
So, so unlikely such reports should have been ignored, rather than believed.

So absolutely nothing about July.

Why do you keep posting rubbish.

Realistically the earliest it could be released is in august, if it RTMs in the next week or two.

Guys cant we just get on in here and respect differences of opinion? surely there is no need for nastiness?

I am not taking sides at all.

Opinions are the problem. There shouldnt need to be any. There are facts, and until their are facts there are rumours. People are getting incredibly worked up based solely on rumour and hearsay, and they need to calm the **** down a bit lol.

That upgrade path matrix is interesting. Microsoft have confirmed that Windows 7 (i.e not SP1) and Windows 8 (i.e. not 8.1) will get a free upgrade to Windows 10, but that matrix confirms they will not be able to do it though Window Update. That confirms that there will be multiple methods of getting the free upgrade, including downloading media.

So... If W7 and W8 users have to install a clean W10 install with downloaded ISOs in order to get their free upgrade, then anyone can. Happy days.

i totally agree

but you could say that in other threads e.g the 390x thread, theres a lot of rumours / links etc and that doesn't stop people discussing it/them.

theres no need for someone to be nasty just because a person post a rumour or post they opinion or what they want to see happen or what they think meant happen or think it may interest some people.. it doesn't mean everybody must agree but also it doesn't mean people can get nasty/rude to that person, as some people may find it interesting, like for example u did with the upgrade path link.

getting worked up and just giving an opinion/what they think meant happen are two different thing. i couldn't care less if it doesn't go the way i thought...

that why i posted as i thought it'll be interesting to some.

in the video it shows people can uninstall windows 10 if they don't like it and it goes back to the old OS u upgrade from.. nice feature tbh.

Downloaded 10130 through Windows Update on 10122, rebooted and now keeps crashing within moments of the blue Windows symbol. :(

Going to take a stab in the dark that I can cut/paste the files in $Windows~BT onto bootable USB, wipe the old 10122 partition, then install 10130 from the USB after rebooting.
