but either way it wouldn't make much difference even if it just appears in Windows Update because you can just untick it if you don't want to install it straight away
thats not getting my knickers in a twist., im giving my opinions and what i think/feel. if u don't like what i post then simply ignore them and don't reply there's no rule saying u must reply... . no need to get rude ok,
also i have already said i hope it's not like that
lets leave it as that now
My second drive keeps on turning itself off in Win10 for some reason, checked in power option and it's set to not turn them off. Any ideas?
Unless I've missed something I don't get how this can be news worthy except as click bait.hmm, true or not?

If you have a licensed copy of Windows 7 or 8 you are entitled to upgrade to Windows 10 for no charge as long as you do it within one year of the release of Windows 10. Should you choose to upgrade more than 1 year and 1 day from W10 release date you'll have to pay for the upgrade.
If you're buying Windows 10 from scratch with no underlying license to upgrade from you'll pay whatever the going rate is.
Similarly if you have an OS earlier than Windows 7 or 8 (i.e. Vista and earlier)you have to pay should you choose to upgrade to Windows 10.
Seems pretty straight forward to me...
Absolutely nothing Microsoft has said has even hinted in the slightest that XP or Vista users will get free upgrades.
What you posted was just a random made up article designed to get people like you worked up.
Edit: Ha! That article has even been upated by the author now to remove the points about XP and Vista getting free upgrades
I think you'll find everyone who has come to this thread worrying about what might happen to them has got the same "calm down dear" reaponse .
Anyone got a link to the latest publicly released ISO version?
Anyone got a link to the latest publicly released ISO version?
As above
I can only find 10074 from the MS site.
See the first line where I say it's clickbait...
did u even read the quote in the post?? the post was about xp/vista upgrading to w10 free for 1 year... it doesn't say anything about 7/8.1, in that quote i posted
IF Microsoft does this it may be good for users who are still on xp/vista to try w10 for a year before paying for xp/vista users.
i don't get why some people are getting funny when i post something or quote something that i feel some people may find interesting or may want to discus..
