Windows 10

Got it installed on a dell 755 machine,its 32bit version as I have it setup a small htpc, seems OK, done the upgrade, so now do I install clean?

It will take me a while to test features and get used to it,

Have googled that specific error code? Have you tried it with literally nothing extra plugged in? Just mono, graphics card, no extra cards or devices?
 
Anyone tried the xbox streaming thing yet? Does it work yet?

Just downloading it now from one of the tool links in this thread. Taking agessssssss to download though...
 
Hi guys. When I updated to Windows 10 on my laptop it required my microsoft account for activation.

What happens when I sell the laptop (or any of my PCs) and the buyer wants to a reinstall? How will it retrieve the key?

But what about over all efficiency? From what I keep hearing, Windows 10 is causing high battery consumption on BayTrail devices; when the system is idle the CPU runs at a higher clock compared to Win 8.1. Connect Standby is reported to eat a lot more battery too.

This is what has kept me from updating to Windows 10 on my tablet.
 
I seem to be getting blue screens now whilst playing the Witcher 3.

The error is STOP 0x00000124: WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR I did a little rooting around and it's linked to my CPU.

The obvious thing is to say the overclock is unstable. But I tested it extensively in April for stability and have gamed no problem since. GTAV, Wither 3 and BF4 in Win 8.1 all ran perfect.

The .dmp file doesn't show me much, but I did come across something that makes me think, its not the cpu being unstable, but the fact I have done an upgrade from Win 8.1 as hidden deep in the dmp file it says this:

But it's now running on Win 10. Not sure if its my cpu unstable, Win 10 the problem or even the Witcher 3 which is the cause.

I'm thinking the next thing I do is a clean install.

Anyone else having issues gaming especially with a CPU oc having done an upgrade?
 
I updated and nearly all of my USB devices eg flash drives, network adapters, mobiles, tablets etc don't connect to PC, regardless of the USB slot. At first there was sound notification when I connected something and now nothing.

Only things that work are the keyboard and wireless mouse.
