Windows 10

I find that most that have done the upgrade complain of problems, but those with a clean install have no problems.

I was one of the few with problems on a clean install...

maybe over the weekend i'll try a clean install with the latest build...

Just going off from what people have said to me. I'm still on 8.1 and I don't think I can be bothered with the faff of a clean install at the minute :(

I went form win 8.1 and had zero problems, in fact my problems started when i did a clean install.

Done an update and now I'm getting issues, such as being told a nolonger supported program has been removed, every time the computer restarts. Issue is I have removed the program.

Other issue is that now my PC constantly turns itself on.

I was liking Windows 10, but not so much at the moment. I like the aesthetic changes with the new update (on the upside). I might have to try a reinstall, though that also means flattening my Windows 7 install... :(

Maybe try another clean install to see if that solves your issue?

I will when I have time :) lol

I must admit that the problems were with and older build. so maybe the new one will actually help.

I did a clean upgrade when W10 first released, but this new upgrade keeps eating into all my RAM and causing programs to crash =/

That graph shows my RAM usage for the past 24 hours. Before the update it never really got about 4-5Gb, but 2 or 3 times today its been up at 7Gb + which is causing issues with steam & chrome

Gone the upgrade route on a few machines with no problems. Also done 2 clean installs after upgrading with no issues. Pot luck i guess.

I've had no problems until latest updates. Now I have no internet access wifi or wired, any suggestions? My internet connection is fine I'm typing this from my iPad.

Track what is using up handles - you can normally find a memory leak that way

Why oh why do MS produce such buggy software? Ok, i know there are many different combinations of hardware / software but you think they would be much better on updates and possible issues? Surely they must do a lot of testing?
