It was the same hardware running dx11 and the dx12, the dx11 gave up and dx12 continued.

I guess I have no reason to stick with 7 if it's free. Hopefully the key would be permenent as I know I'll be doing a clean install every couple of years or so...

And no one wants Microsoft to buy Steam.

So any Xbox One game can be streamed to Windows 10 in a home. Sounds like it's local streaming only, but this is really interesting if you have an Xbox One in the living room and want to play on a tablet with a controller in bed. Fun.

In which case you'll have other tech already more than likely. It's a niche product.
Rather than mass product they really need to get out, as they are continually losing ground to apple and all the Google product. While there Xbox apps, have no TV platform for the everyday home, except Xbox one, which costs to much for most people just as an entertainment hub.
