Windows 10

There's a lot of electronic whiteboards.
Or streaming to everyone pcs, which is what we use, then you don't even have to be in the same room.

Umm with Array Mics, cameras, Skype built in, then after the meeting ends sending all the info you have just seen on the white boards to all their devices?

Also, streaming from Xbox One to PC kind of feels like MS trolling us.

"Can finally play Halo 3 on a PC!

Streamed from Xbox One".

Yeah it's almost like the Xbox App, is just a hub to advertise 'Xbox' on 'PC', doesn't really bring any feature that adds to 'PC' gaming, but rather an easy way to Stream 'Xbox games to your PC' and share your Xbox achievements..

Maybe future games will support cross play etc, and it won't seem so redundant.

I didn't say it's not better, but it's not new and it's still niche.
They need to focus more on consumer or preferably both. They are still doing well in corporations, no so well in general population.

It also might not be just about cross play. Xbox shares a lot of windows code. So in the future it might be like w10 apps. Program, once for both platforms. Xbox is more than physical Xbox is their name for entertainment. Like music and video.

And get those virtual reality googles out. That's awesome.

I don't have much faith in the virtual reality goggles after how MS showed the first Kinect 1.0 back at E3 and half of the features were missing in its final release.

So windows 10 will be a free upgrade for 1 year.

Then what....

Do all existing users keep it for free, new users pay.
Do all users after 1 year pay X .
Do they move to a subscription based service ? ( this was rumored)

Will they instead monetize apps or features Eg control panel becomes a £5 app...

The streaming seems alittle wasted if we dont have mouse and keyboard support. Otherwise its only saving you the time of unplugging it from one screen and plugging it into another.

Which is a massive benefit. when do you ever unplug such a box and move it to another room. want to game in bed you can. Misses watching xfactor, no issue. go game in another room. It's a good feature, but we need lots of us to request windows 10 to windows 10 streaming.
