Windows 10

Windows 10 20H2 also received icons refresh.

That's just rolling out now? insiders got that in July...

in other news, files beta is looking all modern with glass and transparency and that other fancy stuff.

It's not MS, it's an open source project. MS do have a modern file explorer you can play around with by creating a shortcut to the location
Code:
explorer shell:AppsFolder\c5e2524a-ea46-4f67-841f-6a9465d9d515_cw5n1h2txyewy!App
but it's very basic and not as polished as this one. There are probably better, paid, modern file explorers out there but this one is open source and that's awesome :)

Meant to be some MS Meet Now button on the taskbar among some other fixes but it hasn't shown up for me even though that quality update is meant to have installed correctly.

MS Meet? I don't see this after the update whatever this is. Let me check.

ah

Introducing Meet Now in the Windows 10 Taskbar

Earlier this year we introduced Meet Now in Skype. Meet Now makes it easy to connect with anyone in as little as two clicks for free and each call can last up to 24 hours. Today, we’re excited to share that we will be extending this capability in Windows 10 by bringing Meet Now right to the taskbar. In the coming weeks, you will be able to easily set up a video call and reach friends and family in an instant by clicking the Meet Now icon in the taskbar notification area. No sign ups or downloads needed.

It's coming ... soon

I guess so, I thought it was meant to be part of that optional quality update KB4580364. I suppose it may have been and it's dormant until a certain date like the account ribbon that suddenly showed up in 'All settings'.

20H2 has also messed up my graphics too as Radeon Settings now says 'Radeon Settings and Driver versions do not match. Please try again after updating to the latest version(s).'. I hadn't updated either since the last time they were done via Windows Update.

The 'Future Vision' of Windows 10 is everything we could hope for

It’s been reported today that Microsoft is planning on giving Windows 10 a fresh coat of paint next year, updating the Start menu, File Explorer, and the Action Center.

I think Microsoft’s pushed out an update to kill flash player completely as well!

Edit: I don’t think it’s been pushed out yet but it’s coming.

Why? I still can't understand why the hate towards Flash player?!
