I got all sorts of error messages after installing the 'Security' update. It also prevented my nicehash mining app from working, error messages and couldn't mine with it at all. Uninstalled it and all is well again.
I also remember seeing an error message relating to I think what was called 'taskkiller.exe'. After installed the security update I also got the white VGA led warning on my mobo when booting back up.
