Patch worked a treat, just what I was after for it.

I've tried using Windows Live Family Safety Beta, however when I try to log in with my email I just get a dialog box saying I havent viewed/accepted the terms and conditions!??! Theres no tickbox to tick which I can see, and I've tried viewing the T&C in both firefox and IE and that makes no differnece
ANy one else had this?

Can I have beta3 installed with 8.5? Since its only in beta I just want to try it out, not totally erase my current config and have only beta3. If not is there a way to install the other Windows Live betas without "upgrading" messenger.

I think it upgrades everything. I only wanted MSN but it also installed Movie Maker and Photo Gallery. You're best installing it in a virtual environment if you just want to try it out.

I think if you click the link to "learn more" then it goes away. Maybe. I just clicked it, so I will see if it comes back

Yeah it comes back, I've clicked it a million times. Hopefully a newer release of A-Patch will take care of it.

If you go to http://download.live.com and when you download it if you click it twice you get the full installer not the web version. I found this out by mistake lol.

Just installed this and loving the new Messenger.

Really does seem a step in the right direction.

Also, it looks like on Vista it incorporates AERO now and is not using a rubbish "skin" - Is this the case?

New updates for for the Windows Live applications. So far I think it's fixed this bug *fingers crossed*.
