I've already said we can agree to disagree. Change is normal, and so is a foot of snow in March on the south coast. think we all get it.
Got it in one.
Nearly lost it going down hill, as a load of sheep ran out in front of me. Had to use a combination of the brakes, handbrake and reverse to slow me down enough to genitally slide into a small ditch...

Is that when you **** it up?
I'm not really sure what your point is - there are many natural cycles which tend to influence the weather though the interaction is more complex.
While there are more factors at play crude graphing of solar cycles against El Nino oscillation shows a higher chance for wintery weather in the UK at certain points where the cycles are right and higher chance of notable flooding at other points where the cycles cross.
I was just pointing out that the current conditions are not that common in their timing or severity.
I was just pointing out that the current conditions are not that common in their timing or severity. People have pointed out that the last time we had wintry weather this severe was 7 years ago and classify that an occurrence every decade as common. Given common does not have a specific definition we will not reach agreement. I agree that given climate change, the volatility and therefore frequency of adverse weather conditions is increasing.
