Any ETA on London arrival?
I think they said from 10am-3pm, first time for a red warning as well I believe.
Any ETA on London arrival?
People might be laughing now, but there's going to be some pretty bad damage in the SW.
Arwen had gusts of up to 90mph where we are and it wreaked havoc on the powerlines and there will be a lot of damage to roofs, garages, conservatories etc.
It will be just as I'm boarding the Eurostar to Lille at 3pmAny ETA on London arrival?
Seems a bit of an anti-climax thus far down here is Cornwall, windy for sure but the hysteria over the last couple of days lol
It's very strong here in south Wales now, i took a walk over to the beach around 45 minutes ago and could hardly stand up, it was also very hard to breathe as the wind was coming straight onto the beach,
i think if i went back over there now it'd knock me down or suffocate me
Which part are you in?
Edit. Seen your edit!
It was windier the other day here in Bristol.
Considering they closed our office/school for this seems like a bit of a silly decision.
live webcam here from a pier a few miles along the coast from me..
