There were so many cretins out on the roads today. Some people seem completely unwilling to slow down a bit and leave a bigger gap.

A lot of drivers are totally clueless in anything that is more than moderate rain. Snow just multiples it ten fold. I work shifts and I'm glad I'm not on the roads with the majority of drivers between 7 and 9. You see some catastrophic driving.

so the guy who took the above video just took pictures of people sliding around on what may have been deceptive lower sheet of ICE ... seems like an idiot.

And then shouted "oMg wHaT iS hE dOinG"

At least those silly ford videos don't involve people dragging victims into it (the van).

The swing in temps here has been quite extraordinary.

So the last 3 years were. +4 over average, +3 over average, +6 over average, this year its -5 below average, so a swing in my city of about 9 degrees.

Snowing in North Herts.

Meant to be about 2-3cm coming.

Told other half its snowing while Alexa was listening. Turns out she has a few responses.

Or on average, right on track at +/- 0
Well if we assume those above average temps dragged the average up a little bit, the swing might not be as big, but it seems a fair jump, hence the shock of whats hitting. I get what you saying, the average could be the in between of jumps lup and down like this that have happened in previous years, although I dont think i have ever remembered snow in first 2 weeks of December before. :)

I just saw easy maths I could do and posted, but ya, pretty nuts. I don't remember cold at all last year.

Snowed for about 20 minutes here mid-afternoon - quite substantial coming down but it was 1-2C and on the back of rain so not a chance of it settling. Sadly that is probably winter done for us.
