Why does nothing ever work in this country. No gritters, transport lines all delayed or no services till 9am or likely at all. Give me a break.

Most of the main roads in to work this morning were gritted or in the process of being gritted, my bus got stuck behind one for a few minutes. The pavements are another story, either trekking through snow or avoiding all the compacted ice patches.

First test of my vans sk8 hi mte's and they held up very well.

I guess most schools will be closed today with this light coating of snow.
It’s little wonder this country is a mess, no one wants to work or use any excuse to have a day off.

Minus 4 in Blackburn. Saturdays snow is now a layer of ice. Side streets and pavements are more suitable with ice skates than shoes. Freezing fog. Roll on weekend it goes up to a nice 8 Celsius and 12 on Monday

My wife was one of them. Had to clear her car for a pretty precarious journey to get the train.

It’s not thawing much, will have to clear our sloped drive and put salt down for her to be able to get back in later.
