It's still rather fowl weather to be wandering around in for more than a few minutes!

Needs to either **** off or snow more. Its currently just cold and icy everywhere. My heating bill is silly and I have had to take the battery out of the car to recharge it because it was dead.

-7c here in Bristol this morning. Our outside tap is frozen solid and there's a short length of flexible hose going into the wall to connect to the mains. With hindsight I should have wrapped it in a tea towel or something.

Go home, that's going back to the 80's conditions. Our shop has two huge blower heaters in and out energy bill is through the roof. They are work though and keep everyone warm.

Scraped car at 12:30pm and needed to go out at 4pm and a thin layer of ice was forming on windscreen - on driver's side. Typical.
The should be an isolation valve on the inside. You turn that off before a cold spell then drain the water out of the outside bit.
I had to bring in all my Christmas beer and drinks from the shed as I could start to see ice forming.

Take care on the roads people, I drive home at night and take it very steadily, I have hit some black ice a few times, luckily going slow but its not a nice feeling when you do.

-8.5C when I got in this morning. Colder than our local forecast. Can’t wait for some milder weather. Need to wash the car, but everything needs to thaw out over the weekend.

Garden looks like it has been snowing but its just totally white with all the hard frosts.
Feed the birds guys, they are having a really hard time due to the frozen ground and the length of time this cold spell has lasted.
