Winter 2022/23 - It's too cold :(

Bar the rain this year - Christmas in Australia/summertime must be an acquired taste less to look forward to in winter time.

mud+salt on the chainset is my aversion on the better bike, w/o mudguards, too ...
for the city/shop bike, the low temperature has still made the tyres soft +extra drag, too late to fix now ... need to get some warmer socks from father xmas.
 
So far this winter, we have seen light snow falling for approximately 5 minutes at a push on one occasion. A couple of frosty mornings but nothing enough to cause concern issues with ice or slipping. Everyone around us seems to be getting everything. I think I'd like a covering of snow at least... send us snow.

Know that feeling its been so long since it snowed I can't even remember everyone seems to get it except us 2018 was perishing cold but nothing more than flurry that lasted minutes so last sundays fall was the first in a long time.

No response to my statement then? Why do you have to make things personal? Why can't people enjoy cold weather if they like it and people enjoy warm weather if they like it? Or are you the thought police?

Won't someone please think of the children....

Where have I said that people can't enjoy the cold or what they should think? Why do you care enough to reply?

You’re welcome to enjoy cold weather, but don’t start moaning like Lysander when it gets hot as people have a right to enjoy warm weather as well.
