It’ll be an interesting few hours when the rain falls onto all this ice.
Pastime*Why not? National past time isn't it?
I've enjoyed the crisp cold days, spent 4 hours wandering around Norwich yesterday dry cold quite pleasant if you're wrapped up ok. Prefer this to the wet winters I used to get in South Wales. Total drudge getting wet all the time.
Wind for my cheaper electric, yes thank you.
Looks like winter is finished Still those wishing warmer weather will get to enjoy all the wind & rain that will come with it
Thank F this is the last of the Arctic weather for a while.
Yup if it wasn't for the fuel bill at the very least I could tolerate it.Will hopefully save on a bit of heating! The cold weather has massively increased our usage just to keep the house at anything resembling a liveable temperature. Can’t believe how long the snow has stuck around.
Yes go to google and type "small, portable oil heater"You guys got any good suggestions for an oil heater? Something small i can move round the house?
Screwfix and Tool Station are your best bet imo. Homebase has outrageous pricing for radiators. You guys got any good suggestions for an oil heater? Something small i can move round the house?
do oil radiotors cost less to run than electric heater or central heating ?Screwfix and Tool Station are your best bet imo. Homebase has outrageous pricing for radiators.
I found a page which analysed oil vs electric fan heaters, they said cost was similar assuming same wattage, but it was just different characteristics for the heating, fan heater gives that burst of heat targeted with a higher "feels like" temp but of course move out that range and will feel much colder. Oil radiator acting more like normal radiators, but weaker.do oil radiotors cost less to run than electric heater or central heating ?

Both should be cheaper than central heating assuming you only using one, not multiple.
