Yes it's 19c in the living room, I walked from the house up on the Moors yesterday, got so wet that stuck the heating on anyway (had all the gear on but just felt damp)

Still not on yet. House goes to 16oC but, after I've been home for a couple overalls it raises to around 18oC.

Weather forecast shows lows of 10 and 11 Celsius this week but dipping to single digits from the start of November so may have to start putting the heating on at the start of November. We shall see.

The base layers from Decathlon are performing quite well given the price.

My neighbours drive is under 3-4 inches of water from the rain in the early hours - actually looks like they have a pond where they park their cars due to the raised paved area around it.

I think we are going to have a very hard winter, the jet stream isn't pushing powerful wind storms across us into siberia which it usually does. It's very humid for October nearly NOV and the rain is torrential with storms to that of summer!

Wind storms start at the end of Nov, start of Dec here. I have bulbs coming up in the garden. They think it is spring already.

For us it usually happens abruptly in October, but this year totally different!

Our new apartment seems to be passively heated at the moment. Temperature rises to about 23.5 to 23.8 during the day and hasn't yet dropped below 22.1 at night.

It is B EPC rated, has a very large south facing window (4.5m x 2.2m) which I think provides heat during the day, and of course the insulation is very good, and external walls are limited. we seem to retain all the heat from cooking and whatever.

Fingers crossed it continues to perform.

Yeah same here albeit lower overall temps as it's 10oC outside overnight.

It was 16oC inside this morning and, now with no heating on, it has raised to 17.5oC

There was condensation on the outside of the windows this morning which is a good sign as it shows not much heat is being lost through the windows.
