Winter Transfer Window 22/23

That includes his wages and is euros, still seems too high to me though unless there is a clause to buy

He is 23 and has 1 in 4 for Atletico. Waste of money imo. We have plenty of players to choose from like him.

I wish we would just go for Mitrovic and be done with it. It always worked for SAF buying strikers from the English league.

Playing for an Uber defensive side, where he’s basically forced to play left back. :D

I read on the athletic that both clubs have said they’ll pay less than half at around 10m for the loan fee.

I would very much take Felix for the right loan fee. Hard worker, great player and I think he would do well for us. Just need to work out the money side. We desperately need another striker as well. Martial got a knock yesterday and he will no doubt be injured for a chunk of time at some point before the end of the year. We have no strikers if he gets injured.

I predict a fire sale from Leicester in the summer when they go down. I wouldn't be surprised if buying clubs play hardball as a result. If Leicester don't start performing soon i think they will be stuck deep in the relegation battle. Their performances picked up when the last transfer window closed, but how much of that was trying to get into WC squads? Without that incentive i wouldn't be surprised if the bigger players don't ramp up again. If it were me I'd probably want to move somewhere with a better financial position if this is not a one-season FFP blip. If their contracts have relegation release clauses... well, that's going to be in the back of their minds right? So if I were a bigger club there's no way I'm going in too high this window. It just depends how much of a bidding war there could be in the summer everything-must-go pre-championship clear out. Leicester then sink like a stone and go back to league 1/2 and have to remember/learn how to rebuild all over again, probably with a new owner by that point.

Leicester are not going down.

Everton
Forest
Bournemouth
Southampton
Wolves

Are all more likely.

I hope you're right, but have you seen them recently? Lots of possession in the opponent's half but a shocking inability to convert anything. If they find their pre WC form again they will stay up, but I have a suspicion that form was inspired by WC ambitions, so I'm not holding my breath

You have scored 26 goals. All the teams around you have scored teens or close to single digits. They will end up mid table by the season end.

I'd like him too, preferably with an option to buy.
