I don't see how this fits in with how arsenal play at all
Banking on jorginho being able to adapt

Not excited by the prospect but i trust edu and arteta and the bigger picture

Wealth of experience probably be good for the younger members of the squad, will have point to prove, stop gap until we go for rice in the summer

He’s still a massive upgrade on lokonga. Rather 12 mill on jorginho than 70 plus on caicedo tbh

12 million as well, with 6 months left on a contract with a 3 year deal. Outrageous.

Top of the league, probably the best chance they will have to win it for god knows how long, Jorginho is a good player as well.

I don't think Arsenal can put a price on having a squad that can get them over the line right now.

Funny listening to Chelsea fans complain about "strengthening Arsenal for their title push". Please, Chelsea aren't even on Arsenals radar this season. You only have to worry about strengthening a rival.

I assume that means the Fernandez deal is done too however. Will be interesting to see how he gets on because so far Chelsea have bought a lot of expensive crap.

Fofana - £70m - hasn't looked anything special
Cucerella - £60m - Looks like a player worth a 1/3rd of that
Sterling - £50m - hasn't looked like a shrewd buy
Koulibali - £32m - Looks lumbering, slow and with far too many mistakes in him
PEA - £12m - Looks every penny the player that Arsenal wanted rid of.

In theory they should have a very good team if Potter can get everyone firing and get some key players back from injuries. They aren't even looking like being in the EL at this point though.

Think you lot are downplaying his quality. He is a good player. Hes just in a dramatically underperforming Chelsea team. The difference between the same player in a team that is flying high and one that is struggling is massive. United have about 8 players that looked Championship level last season and now look twice the players.

Christ, go back to last season and look at all your opinion on all the Arsenal players that are now tearing it up.

At least someone see’s the sense in the jorginho deal he’s a very good player when he’s on it

Midfield is still xhaka, partey, odegaard

I’D like to see jorginho play this wkend and rest partey tbh

Jorginho is a serial winner and he's only just turned 31. There's no way he's finished, just based on his Chelsea performances this season.

I could easily see the best of him coming out again with a move to a fresh and winning environment.

If it's any consolation for @robfosters and @The_One, you got really excited when Arsenal signed Willian and David Luiz off Chelsea and they both turned out ****. Maybe it's a good sign for Gooners that you're less than impressed this time.
Very true, were in a different situation this tome though

Were top of the league and are adding a very experience player to the dressing room, hes not being signed to be a regular 11

I dont have a problem with the deal aslong as were still going all out for rice in summer

He’s a great player, and the experience could well be invaluable for the title. His stats are basically the same as Caicedo so you’ve saved yourself a few bob short term.
