Sounds like it was pushed through by ETH/his team. Just goes to show how clueless the previous lot were.
 
Jorginho.

This transfer is against what we've done for the past two years, and going to the well again for a fourth 30+ Chelsea player seems far from ideal. However, Elneny's injury had put us in a late bind and Jorginho brings vast experience, technical quality and is trustworthy positionally. Team structure may help to cover for lack of athleticism. Leadership in what could be an under-strength Europa League team also a real boon.

Cheap deal on a short contract, little to no settling and adjustment period. Overall, I think it's a decent temporary solution in the circumstances. Immediate squad depth needs more or less addressed with Kiwior, Jorginho and Trossard in this window.

Sabitzer the pick of the DD deals.

Zabarnyi an interesting signing. Highly rated since he broke through.

Arsenal have bought really smart this window. Other than past failed signings form Chelsea I can't see why they would be unhappy with Jorginho plus Trossard at half the price of Gordon. Two good additions imo.

Don’t know about cheap, his wages are reportedly £200k a week

its still very cheap

Who else could you get with his experience for anywhere close to the money were spending on his fee plus wages

I might buy a jorginho shirt just for you as i know your a big big fan of his :D
